1:40 explains all I need to know.
I don't like this method because when I tried it it showed poor results. Recently I tried it with pure ice and without sieves and the results were pretty. However the molten ice turned black and drying isn't that funny.
4C is only 39.2F, that is extremely cold. Near freezing! How would one typically achieve that without using a fridge? Definitely not in a cupboard as shown at the end.
This is the best breakdown ever!!!
Thanks!
Hello dear Professor=) My name is Igor, we are building a canabis farm in Thailand. And we are stuck with several questions about air Flow and air cleaning. The farm is an indoor close-loop with AC systems, ducts, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, different fans, and exhaust fan systems. We are planning to put air scrubbers (carbon filters) and fans, to clean air inside different rooms (mother, vega, flowering, dry room and trim room) So, the question is is there any formula to understand the filter cfm for different size room? Will those numbers differ (mother, vega, flowering, etc).
Start with a target of a full air exchange every 3min.

So, after watching your video, I can honestly say, what a waste of time abs total lack of information! You never ever SAY WHERE TO PUT IT!
Did you watch until 3:11 where the "best" location is shown?
I miss your cannabis videos

2024 germany got it und ich gönn mir 😂❤
Genießen!
Mine went hermie on me at week 6
This can happen.
First time for me. Outdoor grow, bad weather where i live and probably a light leak. I'm just a beginner, but man, i'm still proud of that double mainline i did. It got really big and beautiful. I chopped it down immediately without thinking (angry and disapointed as hell) and it was pretty sticky and tastfull after all. This year I'm using 2 seeds i've had left from that same package. I don't mind if they become manchicks again. I just love to see how this technique is working out for me and I can't wait for next year to choose a strain which goes better in my environment. Have a good one! My English may be a little bit rusty and I hope my writing mistakes are super funny if I made some 😆🙋🏻♂️
In my place lot's of this stuff, but has no THC at all. Kazakhstan 😂
There are other important compounds and not just THC.
Great video. Enjoyed the format and straight to the point(s). Easy to follow! I've watched a lot of your other videos as well. Quick question: do you recall the co2 saturation (ppm) uaed in the exoeriments?
Target supplemental CO2 level is 1200ppm.
Love you content bro you're truly amazing with these plants. I'm about to start my first girl and will be using a lot of your tips and techniques. Would a TSL 2000 be enough for a 2 by 4/10 3 plants? Or what would you recommend.
Start there and take good notes, best of luck.
Thank you!!!🎉
You are welcome!
Can you explain how there are places online that sell stuff with THCA and other things but it's some how it's legal in every state?
The laws are the "Wild West"...
Hello, what would cause little black flecks or spots on the leafs of cannabis please? Just transplant outdoors about 2plus weeks ago and want to help my girls out ?
Could be insect scat.
How many times can you transplant the plant. I’m growing outside for the first time. It’s in a two gallon now and about twelve inches tall . Should I transplant it into a container bigger or raised bed that I have ..
Technically as many times as you want, but aim for about three.
Eat video short and infromatoinal
Thanks, glad you like them.
wow I have all of those
Hopefully in the future you have none of these;-)
Growing up most of my herbs were smuggled accross the border from Mexico. I selected seeds from a few strains I deemed worthy. It was a hit and miss project but ultimately Sativa vs Indica was nonrelevant. My success stories were only successful because of successful plants. Based on my results, it was a similar yield regardless in a controlled group experiment.
When it comes to selecting the "best" everyone seems to have a different set of criteria.
Im only using 10 drippers on the outflow, it creates back pressure so the venturi does not open to suck fertilizer, what should I do to create a pressure drop or assist me in opening the Venturi? I have read many many things but cannot find resources on my specific setup. I have a main line from the house connected to just a U on the mainline with a valve on the main line between the U of the venturi as well as 2 velves on each of the venturi U arms.
If you are only using 10 drippers you can likely hand water or use a stock irrigation/fertilizer tank and do not need the Mazzei.
You rock!! Helped me identify my girls deficiency. 👍👍
Hope you can correct the issue.
@DeBaccoUniversity Well, I figured out I had some root rot. I took it out of its pot, rinsed the roots in raw honey water and repotted it. This, plus lots of prayer (haha) seems to have fixed that problem. Leaves on stems are now standing up straight and not clawlike. However, I do still have yellow leaves at the bottom that had reached about half way on a 4ft plant. Trying to troubleshoot that now. 😬
Your content is a very helpful and informative resource. I get weary of all the low tech but well meaning goombahs out there, and its refreshing to watch content from someone who truly knows their stuff, and the underlying science of how and why things work the way they do. Thank you. 😊 Ok, time for a practical newbie question. Can the usual 14 day process of drying and curing cannabis be sped up with the use of say a good food dehydrator ? If so, do you have any suggestions on time and temp, and what are the drawbacks, if any ? I ask because my first grow is ready for harvest, and i was wondering if it was possible to avoid the 14 day wait if my goal is to use it for making cannabutter instead of smoking it. Thanks in advance if you opt to take a swing at answering.
Thanks for the comment and to answer your question.... Good things comes to those who wait.
@@DeBaccoUniversity You're always welcome. As for the answer im gonna guess its something in the general direction of how flavors and aromas (and cannabinoids) mature over time (in this case very rapid for 14dys then slower thereafter, like homemade beer), and that if you infuse early on in that process, you sorta capture and memorialize those immature states.
I got a pakistani 1975 plant. It's so awesome 👌
Everyone has a favorite;-)
Thank you again and again and again for all the concise information about all these things. I would like to grow as environmentally conscious as possible, considering hydroponics and RO water already has an impact, but I am very new to gardening and the amount that I don't know is increasingly becoming more apparent. It's very daunting. Can you point me in a direction so that I can learn about synthetic nutrients better? I understand there's different types of NPK and some of those interact better with different styles and watering strategies. I'm particularly interested in deep water culture and drain to waste using coco coir as a medium. I'm also interested in NFT for strawberries and lettuce. I'm not interested in nutrients that require bacterial life to break it down, I would much rather use plant available salts and ideally stack a lower EC input in the substrate so that I don't have to get as much runoff. I would say, "any help would be greatly appreciated", but you already have helped me out so much in the past. Anyway, thanks again, because you have a masterclass of information already available here.
Glad you liked the content and be sure to search the channel for the topics you mentioned as there are videos explaining these on the channel;-)
Don't the days become shorter than 12 hours, after the Equinox? That's September, not mid summer! What am I missing here?
Sometimes it is the plants perceived shortening days that can initiate flowering.
If you want dense buds and smaller crops, top your plants and grow indoors on hydro. If you want more bud of the same thc percentage....grow outdoors, dont top, pull your tops down and grow in soil. Every vet already knows this.
Thanks for adding this.
Once you get this and let's say you have spores because you're seeing it in places where you have no clue how it's getting there. Because there's no shared nutrients, everything's drained to waste. Plants are not touching each other physically. Humans are not touching the plants. And it's still spreads... 🤔
Pythium can spread via irrigation water.
I propagated a cannabis plant from seeds from a wild plant in my home town, and at first it showed magnetic characteristics, but after five weeks I found pollen sacs on the top of it, I only have this one plant, and I was wondering if I can get rid of the pollen sacs? If I get rid of the pollen sacs will it still be psychoactive? Can I light it up in the future?
You can remove the male flowers as you see them, however if all the flowers are male you will not get a harvest.
Very informative. Thank you.
You are welcome!
For those out there with wet buds and no patience and willing to sacrifice most of the quality of a bud or two just to smoke it now, try an airfryer at the lowest temp (200F in my case) for 15 minutes. Was able to actually roll up one and it burnt till it was too small to hold without going out once. Miraculously the ash was even white but it definitively tasted like chlorophyll however it did fix my mood.
Thanks for sharing.
Oo sir your grate experience of forensic science field ... I am impressed ❤
Thanks for the comment and glad to hear you like the content.
Grew gg#4 , grew a few sacks in week 3 luckily I picked them off and watched closely till it finished, best plants I ever grew, found 1 seed out of 9 ounces.
I haven’t grown in over twenty years, and only ever used the seeds I could scrounge up from good seedless (almost) bud. My experience was similar. Often they’d herm out, and only real bad occasionally. If I was persistent and patient enough I could usually stay ahead of the “guy parts” and keep from making too many seeds. The work was worth it though and the product from those plants was often amazing by the standards of the day. I’m sure given the almost extinction of prohibition and proliferation of seed banks since then the product coming from the seeds available for outright purchase (a privilege I didn’t have then) would blow my mind”old head” mind.
Plant scouting is important.
I always figured it was a whole bunch of scraps of paper with adjectives in one hat, nouns in another, pick and pull, viola. Lol..
Unfortunately, you are not that far off;-)
Interesting. How strange a plant....
Thanks for the comment and the subscription!
Love the vids man. Short and sweet!
Glad you like them!
I used to do that out in the field back in the 80's. As soon as you see those male pre flowers yeet that plant out of the ground. The leaves of the male plant do contain a small amount of THC. Just dry the leaves and smoke them. That will give you something to smoke and a nice little buzz while waiting on the females to be ready for harvest.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the information. Seems I need to wait a couple more weeks for full seed maturity.
Best of luck!
what would be optimal for a autoflower in flower?
You can run Autos on the higher end of the DLI for the full duration of the growing season.

My well water comes out at almost 500 ppm. alot of iron in the water. Could i use a water distiller? cant hook up a ro system to my sink so i was thinking maybe a water distillery would work. Bc its just distilled water in the end i believe
500ppm is high for sure, filtered or distilled water would be recommended in your case.
I still don’t know how “to clone” 🤣 you just chopped off a piece of ur plant and ended the video

No data on yeild, for pruning vs not ? I woulda been happy seeing even just a couple of pairs of side by sides. Personally, I firmly believe in pruning, which if done sensibly has the same benefit to yeild and quality as for other plants like Tomatoes, Grapes, etc. Left to their own devices, plants always favor their veg phase, whereas flower is a secondary function that ensures continuation of the species ... and mamipulating the former can greatly affect the latter
There is a video by a german channel who work together with sanlight, one of the best growlight manufacturers on the topic of lolipopping specifically and they did a harvest weight analysis or lollipopped vs not lollipopped and they came to the conclusion that the lollipopped plants yielded significantly more, and also a big share of the overall weight went from C- and B-buds up to the A-Quality. I can look it up for you, give me a sec
